Our Blog is an up to date record of what we have been up to both in the school and out of it. We endeavour to update it as regularly as possible and include a sample the days pictures when available.

You can scroll back through the
Blog and follow various students progress through their training and get a good idea of how the school operates.

You will also find records of our trips abroad which will give you a good idea of what to expect should you wish to come on one with us.

Please visit it on a regular basis and feel free to add comments.

What not to carry in your baggage ........

So Algo 2013 starts off with michel getting thoroughly examined by security at bristol and having all of his bags contents swabbed following the discovery of some lead in his baggage, top tip don't bring lead!

We made it :)

and thats official !!

The flight out went fine and we arrived to 25 degrees and a fresh southerly wind. Car pick up went fine and we were soon on our way north arriving in algo at around 14.30 having checked out the main landing field on the way.

Not a lot has changed down here then

Accomodation sorted we chilled out and waited to see if some hardy folk would fly down from the main launch as evening drew in and the wind eased. Sure enough one by one some gliders flew down but judging by the forward speed it was still breezy enough so nothing missed.

The guys went for a bite in the square then it was a relatively early night in readiness for a full day tomorrow. Lets hope it's the start of a cracking two weeks ….......
