Our Blog is an up to date record of what we have been up to both in the school and out of it. We endeavour to update it as regularly as possible and include a sample the days pictures when available.

You can scroll back through the
Blog and follow various students progress through their training and get a good idea of how the school operates.

You will also find records of our trips abroad which will give you a good idea of what to expect should you wish to come on one with us.

Please visit it on a regular basis and feel free to add comments.

Slope Soaring?

Well kind of. With afresh breeze again and information that Freathy was top end for Tandems we opted to head back to Perran for some more tethering.

This time we were on the steeper SW slope which gave the guys more of a feel of the lift and also as the wind was a bit less than yesterday also the forward speed over the ground. Mark W and Rich R both did well adapting to the conditions quickly and enjoying nice flights down to and beyond the "post" whilst also perfecting their take off techniques.

Kev T (yes winch man Kev) joined in the fun and was soon getting the hang of it putting in some cracking flights and almost looking like a natural. A small squall gave us a break for some theory and by the end of the day both Mark and Richard not only had more airtime to their credit but also had passed the EPC exam so well done guys.

Sorry no pictures but we didn't have any spare hands.
