Two Timers and Power Players

The day finally came, the forecast was good and the boys available, yes Wyn D and Chris H were ready to have a go at Hang Gliding.  It's always good to get back to the field after a bit of a break and with the weather the way it was you could not ask for more.

Wyn plays with the wing

The guys wasted no time and we cracked on with glider rigging, checking and introduction before they got their hands on it.  Whilst we did a bit of running with the wing to get the feel of it Fergie arrived and set up his Paramotor.  It was not long and the ground work was done, a tow brief and we got the winch started.

Chris kisses the masters feet

Fergie was soon up and away for trip up the coast and back in slightly bouncy conditions.  Kaz and here assistant Phil L arrived Phil having kindly given up flying at Carbis to come and pull levers for Kaz as she is a bit short handed at present!

A demo flight and then Chris H was clipped in and ready to go.  A bit of moon walking then he was off the ground for his first Hangy flight, not bad at all.  With the clock running as he had to get off to work Chris popped in several flights and to be fair did a fine job but left room for improvement, isn't there always??

It's all going on ;))

Chill out between sessions

As Chris changed uniforms Wyn clipped in and was soon following suit but with a little experience from 20 years ago to help found it a little easier.  Treeve arrived and joined in the fun with Fergie as they powered up and down all afternoon with silly grins.  All the while Wyn steadily worked away and by the end of play was putting in release flights and gentle turns (well some not so gentle as well).  With fifteen flights under his belt he rounded off a cracking day with a super flight and a star from Kaz.

The dress code is upped by Chris

Huge thanks to Phil for helping out :)  By all accounts some nice flying at Carbis Bay on the Paragliders, oh no don't rub the Frostbite in any more .......
